Obituary: Pasquale Truglia

Pasquale Truglia, 88
Pasquale Truglia, of Hull, died on May 13. He was 88.
Patsy, as many knew him, left this world as he lived it – laughing, battling, and finding joy wherever it be. His death came after a long, full life.
Born in Palermiti, Italy, he survived war-torn Italy during WW II. He then crossed the Atlantic as a teen to start a new life, going on to live in Hull for more than 50 years. Along with his devoted wife of 63 years, Antonietta, he raised two loving daughters.
In 1991, Pasquale overcame a battle with a brain tumor, to live on in health for 30 more years, seeing his five adoring grandchildren grow and enjoy their time with him.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pasquale. He loved working outdoors, landscaping and helping his wife with her plush garden. He loved the company of loved ones, playing games like bocce and horseshoes while telling stories.
His uncanny ability to find happiness in the little things in life is to be envied, as a smile was never far from his face.
Survived by wife Antonietta, daughters Maria and Josie, sons-in-law Rosario and Domenic, and five grandchildren, Pasquale Truglia leaves a legacy of love and strength.
Burial will be private. See www.Keohane.com for directions and online condolences.
