Obituary: Earl K. Tame

Earl K. Tame of Hull, Ma passed away on October 12, 2020. Earl loved the Town of Hull, where he lived for 39 years. He was enamored with the scenic ocean and wonderful people. He was determined to stay until he died suddenly on Monday. Earl was the loving father of his two daughters, Jessica Tame of Harvard, Ma and Katherine Tame of Pisgah Forest, NC. Earl also had two beautiful granddaughters, Mia Mui and Laurel Dobens, whom he loved entirely.
Earl grew up in Hyde Park, Boston with his mother Katherine Silva and graduated Hyde Park High School in 1960. He took every art course offered by Northeastern University while working as Senior Pressman in the University's printing department. From 1965 - 1987 he was a distinguished senior pressman working with large-scale sheet and web fed presses.
Earl was a lifelong artist working with various medias: oil, ink, acrylics, watercolors, photography, writing, glass, woodworking and landscapes. He was particularly known for his use of oil and acrylic mixtures in innovative, colorful, superbly composed abstract, large format paintings.
In Earl's later years, he proudly worked as a tour operator for CityView Trolley in Boston, Ma.  He was an avid Boston historian, sharing his love of the city with locals and visitors through his tours. He loved Boston, only second to Hull and his family.
