Obituary: Fred W. Hermanson Jr.

Fred W. Hermanson Jr., 88
Fred W. Hermanson Jr., of Haverhill and formerly of Hingham, died on Nov. 15. He was 88. 
He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline M. (Goedecke) Hemanson. He is survived by his loving companion, Betty Kohl, of Haverhill. 
Fred was the beloved father of Christy Bacon and her companion, William Spencer, of Davenport, Fla.; Fred W. Hermanson III and his wife, Maria, of Westfield; Amy F. Rabinovitz and her husband, Steven, of Abington; Caroline L. Haley and her companion, Scott Boyd, of Weymouth; and Robert J. Hermanson, of Maine. He was the brother of Robert Hermanson, of Weymouth; Louis Hermanson, of Florida; Marie Gonsalves, of Florida; and the late Louise Callahan. 
Fred will also be remembered lovingly by 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Fred was born in Quincy, the son of the late Fred W. Hermanson Sr. and Edmea (Quintiliani). He was raised in Quincy and later moved to Hingham; for the past 10 years he lived in Haverhill. He worked for many years at Eastern Engineering Manufacturers Co.
A funeral service was  held on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham.
