Obituary: Gladys A. Twomey

Gladys A. Twomey, at 81
Hull resident Gladys A. [Keegan] Twomey went home to the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 11. She was 81.
Mrs. Twomey lived in Hull for 52 years and was very active in the community and with the church. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary every morning. She was a homemaker and caregiver. Mrs. Twomey had the biggest smile and was a gentle, kind, and patient woman. She lived her life honestly and with love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Beloved wife of the late Matthew Twomey; loving mother of Daniel Burke of Keene, NH, Kathleen Brown of Watertown, Kevin Burke of Belmont, Cheryl Burke of North Weymouth, Ann Marie Burke of Hull, and the late Thomas Burke. She was the cherished sister of Barbara Zeogas of Groton and the late Dorothy, Dawn Candice, and James; and also is survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a brief visitation on Saturday from 10:30-11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, Hull immediately followed by the funeral Mass at 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Norwell Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA 02061.
