Obituary: Judith Doliner

Judith Doliner, 86

Judith (“Judy”) Doliner, of Hull, passed away after a brief illness on Dec. 30, with family by her side. She was 86.

Judy was born in Boston and grew up in its Dorchester neighborhood. After she married, she resided for many years in Millis, then moved to Hull in 1977 after spending summers here with her husband and children. When she and her family moved to Hull, they purchased The Coffee Cup and ran the business for two years prior to her husband’s passing.

Judy worked in mutual funds in Boston and loved taking the commuter boat every day. On her retirement, she spent time sailing, country line dancing, and traveling locally to Cape Cod beaches.

In more recent years, she spent most of her time at home with her family and especially looked forward to time with her great-grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by her husband, Seymour Doliner, and by her longtime partner, Alfred Zella. She was the loving mother to Joanne Marshall and to Maxine Nash and her husband, Michael, cherished grandmother to Leah Andrews and her husband, Ian, and dear great-grandmother to Colby and Josephine.

A private graveside service was held at Hull Village Cemetery.
