Obituary: Martha Fisher
/Martha Fisher, at 74
Martha (Everett) Fisher, a longtime Hull resident, died March 15 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 74.
Ms. Fisher grew up in Norwood and earned her associate’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She worked as a decorator at Filene’s department store in downtown Boston for many years before she bought and operated Pots & Petals florist in Hull. In her retirement, she volunteered for Wellspring and the Cohasset Historical Society.
She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Hull Garden Club. She traveled extensively throughout her life.
Ms. Fisher leaves her daughter, Ruane Sardelli; her husband, Jeff; and their children, Luke and Finn.
A celebration of Ms. Fisher’s life is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at First Church of Squantum, 164 Bellevue Rd., Quincy.
