Neil Joseph Reilly Sr., 80 
Neil Joseph Reilly Sr., of Weymouth, died Aug. 25. He was 80. 
Born in Boston’s South End to the late John and Cecelia Reilly, he graduated from Boston English High School. He attended Boston Teachers College and soon after became a master electrician and started his own company, Southeast Electric. After several years of running his own company, he went to work for Mathewson Corp. where he had the opportunity to travel the world as director of sales. 
Along with traveling, Neil loved the ocean and spent winters later in life at Jensen Beach in Florida. He also loved country music and was a great cook. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his quick wit.
Neil is survived by his wife, Geraldine Reilly. He was the loving father of Neil Reilly Jr. and his
wife, Robin, of Hull; Patrick Reilly ,of Braintree; Christine McDonough and her husband, Thomas, of Hull; Michelle Glennon and her husband, Patrick, of Hull; Kathleen Mahoney and her husband, Jon, of Hull; Thomas Reilly and his wife, Kristen, of Hingham; and Matthew Reilly and his wife, Molly, of Hull. 
Neil was the grandfather of 18 grandchildren, including the late Madyson Mahoney. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Kathleen O’Brien. He was the brother of John Reilly, of Weymouth, Mary Bradley, of Marshfield, and the late Timothy Reilly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gertrude L. Craig
Gertrude L. (Sullivan) Craig, of Hull, died August 18.  
Beloved wife of 68 years to the late Theodore Craig, she was the loving mother of Jean Craig and her husband, Kevin Brandt, of New Hampshire; Jim Craig and his wife, Marianne, of Hingham; Susan Craig, of Italy; Cheryl Ryan, of Quincy; Joe Craig and his wife, Maryellen, of Marshfield; and Rick Craig and his wife, Cathy, of Hull. 
Gert was the devoted Nana of 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving of her eight siblings. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She died the day before what would have been her and her beloved husband’s 70th wedding anniversary.  
A longtime resident of Hull, Gert was formerly a resident of Quincy and Hingham. Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered for her kind and generous personality and will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 
Funeral services will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the burial service in Hull Village Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 11:15 a.m.

Obituary: Anne Marie Burns

Anne Marie Burns, 98
Anne Marie (Lewis) Burns, of Hull, died Aug. 14 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 98.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alice (Hayden) Lewis and attended local schools. She worked as a sales clerk for Child World for many years. She also worked at Paragon Park for more than 25 years. She did everything at Paragon Park and loved her job and the relationships she built through the years. 
A woman of great faith, Anne Marie lived her life in accordance with the virtues of faith, hope, and love. She raised her family with love and devotion while instilling the same virtues in her children and grandchildren. Family was the cornerstone in her life.
In her spare time, Anne Marie enjoyed shopping, watching westerns, and cooking. She was a diehard New England Patriots fan. She was vibrant, loving, and selfless. She was the type of person who would do anything for you. Her life lessons and her example share as part of her legacy and continue through her family. She will be missed by all whom she touched. 
Anne Marie was the beloved wife of the late Francis M. Burns, who died in 2007. She was the devoted mother of Charles F. Burns and his wife, Penny, of Ohio; and the late Marsha M. Bowes, who died in July 2019. She was the loving grandmother of Charles (“Chad”) Burns and Michael P. Burns, both of Ohio; Jeffrey S. Bowes and his wife, Jessica Jones-Bowes, of Hull; and Kelly Bowes, of Weymouth. She was the loving great- grandmother of Raena, Francis, and Zora, all of Ohio. 
Anne Marie is also survived by her dear nephew, Dale Lewis, and his wife, Jean, of Holbrook, and many other loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Walter and Paul Lewis. 
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull. She will be interred privately in Hull Village Cemetery.

Timothy William Hurley, 86
Timothy William Hurley, of Hull, died on Aug. 9 with family by his side. He was 86.
Tim served in the Coast Guard and was a graduate of Boston State College and later Suffolk University. He lived in Hull for more than 50 years.  
Tim was a teacher at the Damon School and a guidance counselor at the Memorial Middle School. 
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Wanda (Hegarty) Hurley; his children: Eileen Clark and her husband, Dan, of Dalton, Ga., Brian Hurley and his wife, Elaine, of Hull; Laura Neagle and her husband, Jay, of Scituate, and Gregory Hurley and his wife, Denise, of Scituate.  
Tim is also survived by 11 grandchildren and his cousin, Fran Burke, of Naples, Fla. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. 
Services will be private.

Obituary: Elaine Lea Lamica

Elaine Lea Lamica, 77
Elaine Lea Lamica died at her home in Claremont, N.H., on Aug. 3 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 77.
Elaine was born on Oct. 18, 1942, in Springfield, Vt., the daughter of Howard and Gabriella (Michel) Shepard. She graduated from Charlestown High School with the class of 1959. She married Leo Lamica on May 15, 1965; he predeceased her.
Elaine was a great mom and grandma. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her grandkids. She loved to crotchet, cook, and play bingo. She loved the ocean and lived right near it, in Hull, for 30 years. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.
Elaine had worked in retail at Marsons Army Navy and was a cobbler at Harry’s Shoe Barn; she also worked for Gays Trucking in Bellows Falls, Vt.
She is survived by her children Brian Lamica and his wife, Marilou, Wendy Lamica Sprowl, Mark Lamica, and Lisa Lamica; her grandchildren Ethan Blanchard, Mary Sprowl, Q’orianka Lamica, Fionn Roseingrave, and Keona Lamica; her sister, Yolande Shepard-O’Keefe; and her best friend, Carolyn Handley. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Bill Shepard.

Obituary: Louis “Capt’n Lou” Gainor

Louis “Capt’n Lou” Gainor
“It was a lovely cruise”
Lou Gainor, of Hull, died Aug. 1 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Capt’n Lou, as he was known, was surrounded by his wife of 51 years, Ellen (Chernov), his son, Brad, his niece, Linda Chernov, and his dog, Gilligan. 
He was born in Quincy, in 1947, to the late Thelma (Yenof) Gainor-Andelman and Burton Gainor. He was the stepson of the late Morris Andelman and brother of the late Milton Gainor. He also leaves his daughter-in-law, Stacey, beloved grandson Sam, stepbrother Joel Andelman and his wife, Linda, stepsister, Jane Lubin, sisters-in-law Cecily Rosenberg and Sandy Forman, and brother-in-law Charles Chernov and his wife Michelle. 
Louis Gainor studied at Northeastern University and Bentley College. He found his first achievements as a real estate entrepreneur.  It was his success in real estate that allowed him to “live the life” on the water, cruising with his wife and son from Boston to Florida for eight consecutive seasons on a 1986 46-foot Bertram with twin 892 Detroit Diesels that he watched the Miami factory build. He was a seasoned captain, boating since age 6. In 1992 Lou was commodore of the Metropolitan Yacht Club, becoming a lifetime trustee and one of its most senior members.  
After real estate came another entrepreneurial achievement: Capt’n Lou on Nautical Talk Radio, broadcast on 95.9 FM WATD. He interviewed celebrity scuba diver Jacques Cousteau, famous boat builders Irwin Jacobs and Reggie Fountain, politicians (state Sen. Bruce Tarr, the late U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy, and Gov. Mitt Romney), and entertainers Billy Joel and Florence Henderson, among others. Capt’n Lou and Nautical Talk Radio received many awards, including MA/RI Associated Press “Best Talk Show,” Joshua James Lifesaving Medal for public service, American Lighthouse Foundation’s Len Hadley Award, Boston’s Achievement In Radio Best Interview Award, and he was nominated for Boston’s Achievement In Radio Best Produced Public Affairs Program.  
An avid supporter of recreational boating/fishing and the recreational/commercial fishing industries, he was a retired member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, 1980-2005, and was invited in 2012 to participate in the Turning Ceremony of the U.S.S. Constitution. His many other accomplishments included public affairs officer, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, 2001-2004; publicity and media chairman, Quincy Bay Race Week Association, 2000-present; and Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council 1996-2000. He was a lifetime member of the Mass. Striped Bass Association, Boat Writers International, South Shore Harbormasters Association, and Stellwagen Bank Charter Boat Association.  He was proud to serve on the board of directors for South Shore Elder Services.

Obituary: Norman Nisenbaum

Norman Nisenbaum, 88
Norman Nisenbaum, of Hull and Boca Raton, Fla., died on July 31. He was 88. 
The devoted son of late Jack and Anne (Levine) Nisenbaum, he was the beloved husband of Karen Nisenbaum and the loving father of Risa Nisenbaum, of Boston; Chuckie Leuchte and his wife, Lori, of Quincy; Scott Leuchte, of Worcester; Michael Leuchte, of Richmond, Va.; and the late Eliot Nisenbaum and his partner, Ronald Sandberg, of Fort Lee, N.J. He was the cherished grandfather of David, Stephen, Madison, and Natalie Leuchte and the brother of Harvey Nisenbaum and his wife, Sylvia, of Philadelphia.
Norman was an icon of Quincy for more than 30 years as the owner of Samoset Pharmacy. Known to all as Norm, he was always there to help anyone in need. He cultivated a lifetime of friendships.   
What he loved most was being with his family. Norman’s love was unconditional. He was an amazing and wonderful person, who was loved by all. He touched so many people and will truly be missed.
Norman will be interred at Butrimantzy Cemetery (Baker Street), West Roxbury, after a private graveside funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s memory can be made to Temple Israel of Hull. 

Obituary: Frederick J. Marks

Frederick J. Marks, 88
Frederick J. (“Freddie”) Marks died on July 24 after enjoying a wonderful life. He was 88.
A truck driver by occupation and a loyal member of the Teamsters Union, his CD handle was “Barnacle Bill.” He loved being on the road. He was an avid golfer and loved to read. 
Freddie was a wonderful storyteller, and the tale always started with: “Did I ever tell you my … story?” Even up until the end, when asked how he was doing, he always responded with, “Couldn’t be better,” and how true that was. 
Freddie was a proud veteran of the Air Force, he served during the Korean War. 
He is survived by sons, Frederick Marks Jr. and former wife, Joan (Woolf); Robert and his wife, Donna (Adams), of Braintree; Steven and his wife, Barbara (O’Connor), of Abington; and Michael F. Marks, of Quincy. He was the “Bonus Dad” of Allison (Vaughan) Kierce and her husband, David, of York, Pa., and Jason Vaughan and his wife, Sara, of Chesapeake, Va. 
Fred leaves his beloved grandchildren: Jenny, Jamie, Patrick, Kellie, Valerie, Brendan, Christopher, Amy, Nicholas, Kelsey, Trevor, Stephanie, Vanessa, and Alex; and great-grandchildren Lucas, Zachary, Tyler, Caleb, A.J., Zeke, Leo, Isla, Norah, Jason, Jackson, Colin, Nicholas, Dominic, Lily, and Leo.
He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Marks, and his sister, Diane Sullivan, and husband Jack, of Florida.
Fred was predeceased by his former wife, Phyllis L. (Collins); his first grandchild, Robert Marks Jr., of Braintree; his parents, Lillian (Rose) and Alfred Marks, of Boston; siblings Gregory, Joseph, Beverly, and John; and his precious dog, Ruthie, whom he adored.
He and his wife, Judy (Farina), were happy together for the past 30 years. Fred was also a friend of Bill W. for more than 30 years.
A private burial will take place at the Hull Village Cemetery.

William Costa, 58 
William (“Bill”) Costa died unexpectedly on July 24. He was 58.
Born on Feb. 8, 1962, to the late Barbara Costa Ogg, he is survived by his wife, Kathleen McDonald Costa; his daughters, Kerri Costa, of Quincy, and Katelyn Costa, of Hull, and her fiancé Terry Barthelemy; his sister, Cheri O’Bryan, and her husband, Rick O’Bryan, of Rockland; his brother, David Costa, of Connecticut; his sister, Kathy Costa, of Brighton; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy McDonald, of Hingham, and John McDonald and his wife, Paulina, of Hingham, along with many nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was employed as a deli clerk at Stop & Shop in Cohasset. 
He loved spending time with family and friends. He was an avid Boston sports fan, and you would rarely see him without his baseball cap. He enjoyed his animals, a good song, and puttering around the house and yard. He also loved to show off his grilling skills.

Obituary: Fay Marie Robbie

Fay Marie Robbie, 92
Fay Marie (Hurley) Robbie, of Hull, died on June 23. She was 92.
Fay was born in Cohasset in 1927 to Arthur L. (“Louie”) and Leta Rose (Dyment). She was predeceased by her husband, Donald J. Robbie, and her son, Christopher Litchfield Arnold. 
Fay is survived by her three loving children: Gregory Arnold and his wife, Connie, of Marshfield; Prescott and his wife, Betty, of Concord; stepson James Robbie and wife, Maureen, of Swansea;  and two sisters, Brenda (Hurley) Remes, of Carver, and Diana (Hurley) Freda, of Kingston. 
“Fay-Fay,” as her adoring grandchildren called her, also leaves eight grandchildren; Chris, Craig, Evan, Jake, Garrett, Zach, Eric, and Adrienne, in addition to five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 
Fay grew up in Hull and was a fixture in town as a kindergarten and elementary school teacher and lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Hingham High School, class of 1944 (before Hull had its own high school), and Lesley College, class of 1949. She was an active member of the Hull Garden Club, a prodigious knitter of Irish knit sweaters and warm baby clothes, as well as an organizer of family parties for any and all occasions. She loved to travel, cook, and host neighborhood gatherings. 
Fay was the granddaughter of John J. Hurley, of Revere Beach and Nantasket, an amusements entrepreneur of the early 20th century and creator of the Monkey Speedway, Hurley’s Hurdlers – a renowned carousel of the day, and many other popular amusements of the time.

Obituary: David Chase Campbell Sr.

David Chase Campbell Sr., at 84
David Chase Campbell, Sr. of Hull, formerly of Cape Cod, died peacefully on June 29. He was 84.
Born in Hyannis, he was raised in Marstons Mills, and after graduating from Barnstable High School, he joined the US Army, and was stationed in Germany. He then returned home to begin his career as a pharmaceutical salesman throughout the Cape and Islands. Mr. Campbell loved to play golf, and in retirement worked for both the Milton Hoosic Club and the Hatherly Golf Course. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Paula, in their RV. He loved the ocean, Cape Cod, trips to Maine and Florida, and was an avid reader and a great businessman. He was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Hull.
One of his biggest passions was his dogs. He loved animals and always adopted them through shelters. Most important to him was his family, his children and grandchildren, whom he loved deeply. All he ever wanted was the best for his family! 
The son of the late James Francis Campbell and the late Cleone (Chase) Campbell, he was the loving husband of 53 years of Paula (Lavidor) Campbell of Hull, and the father of Kristen Lavidor (Campbell) Scanlan and her husband, Paul, of Hull, and David Chase Campbell Jr. and his wife, Carolyn Laverty Campbell, of Westford. He was the cherished “Bear” to his grandchildren, Taylor and Ryan Campbell of Westford, and Brandon Parsons, Nicholas Scanlan, and Kristopher Scanlan of Hull.
Mr. Campbell also was the loving brother of Peter Campbell and his late wife, Susan, of Hyannis, and the late James Francis Campbell. He was the uncle of Peyton Willman and her family of Barnstable, and Pete Campbell and his family of Springfield.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 10 in Hull Village Cemetery.

Obituary: Robert P. Sampson

Robert P. Sampson, 92
Robert P. (“Bob”) Sampson, of Hull, died on June 23. He was 92.
The beloved husband of the late Virginia (“Ginny”) Sampson, he was the father of Michael Sampson and his wife, Jane; Robert Sampson and his wife, Kathy; and Virginia Donnelly and her husband, Joseph, all of Weymouth. He was also the beloved cousin of Michael Bolger, of Brockton, and the brother of the late Francis Sampson and Helen Malloy. 
He was the cherished grandpa of Christine, Michael, Rhianna, Emily, Elizabeth, Joseph, Erica, Bobby, and Amy and the great- grandfather of Aubrey Sampson. 
Bob is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friend Carleene Bersani, of Weymouth, and faithful companion Buddy.
Bob was born in Cambridge and moved to Weymouth where he raised his family. He worked for many years as a machinist in the sheet metal industry. Bob spent his summers in Hull. After he  retired, he split his time between Hull and Fort Myers, Fla. An avid golfer, he enjoyed fishing for lobsters. 
Bob was well known in Hull as the “Green Hill Handyman”; there was no job too big or too small, and he was always up for the challenge and enjoyed helping his neighbors. He was devoted to his family and his faith, as an active parishioner at St. Ann’s Church in Hull. 
Bob will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him.
A Celebration of Life service was held in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home in Hingham Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church in Hull. Burial was in Hull Village Cemetery.

Ann E. Saunders, a longtime Hull resident, died on Sunday, June 14, at Bridges at Westford. She was 83.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vernon Saunders with whom she shared 19 years of marriage. 
Ann was born on June 3, 1937, in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Colburn and Elizabeth (Murray) Olmstead. She was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School with the class of 1954. She received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University in 1984. She worked as a certified public accountant, retiring from JCM Computers in Abington. 
Ann was a parishioner of St. Mary of Assumption Parish St. Ann Church in Hull. She served as a pastoral care minister, providing the Eucharist to the homebound and sick. She enjoyed travel and loved the ocean, but most especially she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. 
Ann leaves behind her three children: Paula Austel and her husband, Vernon, of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; Gerald Sweeney and his wife, Linda, of Chelmsford; and Daniel Sweeney and his wife, Christina, of Hudson, N.H.; her stepdaughters: Susan Shack and Victoria Saunders; her seven grandchildren: Ryan, Robert O., Marissa, Robert H., Maura, Vika, and Craig. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Sullivan and her husband, Charles, of Scituate, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind her longtime companion, Charles E. Obituary: Alfred John Zella

Alfred John Zella, 91 
Alfred John Zella, a 50-year Hull resident and a former resident of East Weymouth, died on June 14. He was 91.
He was the loving father of Richard John Zella and Leslie Anne Zella, of Hull, and the late Stephen Thomas Zella. He leaves behind grandsons Stephen Zella, Jeffrey Zella, Michael Zella, and Gregory Zella and five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by Judith Doliner, his loving companion and life partner of 40 years.
Alfred was the oldest of seven siblings: Doreen Eaton, Shirley Coughlin, John Zella, and William Zella and was predeceased by his sisters Barbara O’Brien and Carol Wood.
A WWII Army veteran, Al was stationed in Pusan, Korea, from 1945-1948. On his return, he became a master electrician and ran his own business, Flexlite Electric Co., for 48 years before retiring in 2010. He had a lifelong love of sailing and the sea.

Obituary: Margo Stang

Margo Stang, of Hull, died on June 12. She was 71.
She leaves her husband, Robert Haberstroh; her brother, Michael Stang and his wife, Elizabeth, of California; her nephew, Orion, of California; and her niece, Andrea, of New Hampshire; and many friends and relatives across the world. She was predeceased by her mother, Marian Spaulding Schaaf.
Margo grew up in the Kingston/Plymouth area and over the years had lived in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tampa, Fla., and Anchorage, Alaska, before settling in Hull in 1997. 
She worked many years before retirement as a legal secretary in the Office of the General Counsel at Harvard University, taking many courses in the Harvard Extension School and receiving a bachelor’s degree in 2002.
She loved reading, walking along the beach, and traveling internationally with family and friends. Her last trip, in 2019, was a memorable cruise/tour along the coasts of England, Wales, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and Scotland.
Her beautiful smile, her easy wit, and her dancing Irish eyes will be missed by all who knew her.

Obituary: Ren’ee M. Richman

Ren’ee M. Richman, 49
Ren’ee M. (Kerble) Richman, of Weatherford, Texas, and formerly of Hull, died on June 10. 
The beloved daughter of the late Edward R. Kerble and the late Toni S. (Cogen) Kerble, she is survived by her daughters Heather, Rachel, and Victoria. She also leaves her siblings Scott Kerble and his wife, Stacey; Donna Kerble; Marlene Franklin and her husband, Joel; and Eric Kerble and his wife, Denise. She will be greatly missed by her partner, K.C. Smith, and her lifelong best friend Leeanne Salverio, as well as many friends and extended family. 
Ren’ee was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a lifelong obsession with unicorns, loved music, enjoyed drawing, and developed a passion for gardening. She always looked forward to watching “Survivor” and spending time at the beach with her girls. She adored her fur baby, Dante, who walked into her life.

Obituary: Joseph William McNamara Sr.

Joseph William McNamara Sr., 97
Joseph William (“Bill”) McNamara Sr., of Hull, died at home on June 11. He was 97.
Mr. McNamara started his ice business, Nantasket Ice, and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Army during WW II, where he fought in five battles, including the Allied Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. He was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant at the conclusion of the war. 
Upon returning, he joined the Highway Department and then became a Hull firefighter for 32 years. Mr. McNamara was also employed by Funland Park while he co-owned and operated Nantasket Transportation Co. 
After retiring from the Hull Fire Department, he worked at Paragon Park. Not missing a day’s work, he became the Straits Pond Gatekeeper for a number of years. The bridge was later named after him. He was also a member of Post 95. 
He was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie M. (Sammet) McNamara; loving father of Michael J. McNamara and his wife, Pamela J., of Marshfield; Kevin M. McNamara and his wife, Julie, of Naples, Fla.; Wendy L. McLeod and her husband, Michael, of Hanson; Joseph W. (“Billy”) McNamara Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Hull; Mark S. McNamara and his wife, Sharon, of Pembroke; and the late John P. “Jackie” McNamara. He was the loving brother of the late Robert McNamara and the late George McNamara, both of Hull, and adoring grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. McNamara is survived by his devoted companion and loving dog, Daisy. 
Bill was a devoted husband for more than 70 years. There were not many times you would see one without the other. They will now be together forever. 
Due to the pandemic, a private wake will be held, followed by a private Mass at St. Ann’s Church and interment in Hull Village Cemetery. Obituary: Michael J. McGrath

Michael J. McGrath, 36 
Michael J. McGrath, of Hull, died suddenly on June 5. He was 36.  
Michael was born on the 4th of July, 1983, in Weymouth. Although he worked as a mechanic, Michael’s true love was always music. He was happiest playing music with his many friends and beloved family.  
He leaves his loving mother, Mary McGrath Beers, of Hull; his stepfather, William Beers, of Rockland; siblings Colleen Dunne and Brendan Beers, both of Hull; and many cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his much-loved grandfathers, Stuart Beers and Charles “Pep” McGrath.

Obituary: Patricia A. Vaillancourt

Patricia A. Vaillancourt, 86 
Patricia A. (Viapiano) Vaillancourt, 86, of Hull, has died after a brief illness. She was 86.
Pat grew up in Quincy and graduated from Quincy High School in 1952. She lived in Hull for 62 years where she raised her six children with her former husband, Donald R. Vaillancourt, now deceased. She loved living near the ocean, going to the beach, gardening, and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors. She had a great sense of humor. 
Pat worked for Talbots for many years, retiring in 1999. 
She is survived by her six children and their families: Steven Vaillancourt and his wife, Elizabeth, of Marshfield; Diane Richardi and her husband, Joseph, of Braintree; Robert Vaillancourt and his wife, Karen, of Millersville, Pa.; Patricia Quill and her husband, Jerry, of Boston; Peter Vaillancourt and his wife, Joy, of Riverview, Fla.; and James Vaillancourt, of Hull. She leaves 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 
She is also survived by her brothers Anthony Viapiano and his wife, Kathleen, of Quincy, and Vincent Viapiano and his wife, Carol, of The Villages in Florida, and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Maria Viapiano, and her sister, Isabel Cox, of Rockland. 
The family would like to thank the kind and respectful attention of the Hull Fire Department for its many years of emergency service to Pat whenever it was needed. 
Donations in her name can be made to South Shore Elder Services of Braintree. The family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.

Obituary: Richard Vincent Perry

Richard Vincent Perry 
Richard Vincent Perry, of Hull, died on June 8.
He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann (Devine) Perry and son of the late E. Viola (Tobin) and Philip Perry. He was the loving father of Thomas and his wife, Maureen, of Plymouth; Louis and his wife, Lori, of Hull; Susan and her husband, Bill, of Winthrop; Philip and his wife, Janice, of South Weymouth; and Richard and his wife, Nicole, of Hull. He is survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Viola Pike, Dorothea Lucier, Phyllis Devaney, Frances Buckley, Catherine Ryan, and Irving Perry; he leaves many special nieces and nephews. 
Dick loved golf, playing cards, and his many trips to Florida and Saratoga. He had many special friends in his life. He was a member of the Hull VFW, a life member of the Winthrop Elks, and a member of the American Legion in Jamaica Plain. 
He was retired from the Jamaica Plain Post Office after a long career. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War, and was so proud of the service men and women of today.
