Christopher J. Clark, at 59

Christopher J. Clark of Weymouth passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 5, 2023 at age 59.

Mr. Clark was born in Boston and grew up in Hull. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology after graduating high school to earn his plumber’s license. He then became an EMT and firefighter with the Hull Fire Department. In 1992, Mr. Clark began his career with Dedham Fire Department and was a longtime member of Group 2, Engine 3, and this past year was promoted to acting lieutenant on Engine 4, Group 4. 

Mr. Clark cherished his time with the Dedham Fire Department, where he was known for cooking delicious meals for the station. Outside of work, Mr. Clark loved being at the beach, sunbathing, riding his Harley Davidson and fishing on the Cape Cod Canal. You would most likely see his cousin, John Finn, by his side, as they were inseparable.

He was the beloved son of Nancy P. Clark of South Weymouth and the late Kenneth J. Clark, and is survived by sisters Cindy (Clark) Phillips of East Bridgewater and Terri-Lynn Clark of South Weymouth; three children, Ryan Clark of Hull, Kyle Clark of Hull, and Christanie Channell of Hanson. He also is survived by his many aunts and uncles, niece Madison Kajunski of Weymouth, nephew Jason Phillips of East Bridgewater, and many loving cousins. 

His funeral Mass was held at St. Ann’s Church on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Mr. Clark’s wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Clark’s name to be made to the Lupus Foundation of New England, 290 W Boylston St., Suite 60676, Worcester, MA 01606.
