Obituary: Mary E. Cote

Mary E. Cote, at 85
Mary E. (Glennon) Cote of Brockton, formerly of Hull, died Oct. 31. She was 85.
Mrs. Cote worked for Sigma Instruments in Weymouth; she retired after 20 years of service. 
She raised her family in Hull, where they created many wonderful memories that they cherish today. She was a devoted mother who had little time for hobbies, although she did enjoy shopping when she had the opportunity. 
Her family was the foundation of everything that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
The beloved wife of the late Joseph Cote, she was the devoted mother of Mary Jones and her companion, Tim, of Buzzards Bay, Joseph Cote and his wife, Marjorie, of Plymouth, Thomas Cote of Brockton, Kathleen Krause and her husband, Paul, of Hingham, Teresa Delaney of Brockton, Margaret Devitt and her husband, Anthony, of Hull, Michelle Mattson of Brockton, Jennette Thornton and her husband, Leif, of Hull, Jeannine Slocum and her husband, Kenneth, of Whitman, and William Cote of Brockton. 
She was the sister of Joseph Glennon of Florida and Kathleen Smith of Avon.
Mrs. Cote is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sandy.
Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
