Obituary: Grace Lee Anderson

Grace Lee Anderson died on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the age of 85 after a lengthy period of declining health.
Ms. Anderson was born in Quincy and raised in Hull. A schoolteacher who loved her country, she taught the children of servicemembers stationed overseas in Germany for many years. Ms. Anderson was an accomplished artist who loved painting, politics, the Republican Party, Nantasket Beach, and Paragon Park. She was a doting aunt and loyal friend, and above all else, she loved her family dearly.
Ms. Anderson was the beloved sister of Elizabeth A. (Anderson) Trubia of Hull and Edward G. Anderson and his wife, Mary, of Gloucester. She was the cherished aunt of Michael L. Trubia and his wife, Eileen, of Tolland, Conn., Lawrence D. Trubia and his wife, Margaret, of Hull, Amy M. (Anderson) Belger and her husband, David, of Holliston, David M. Anderson and his wife, Karen, of Weston, Fla., and Edward M. Anderson of Henderson, Nevada.
Ms. Anderson was predeceased by her nephews, James E. Trubia and John R. Trubia of Hull, and her beloved brother-in-law, Salvatore J. Trubia of Hull. She also is survived by many grand- and great grand-nieces and nephews.
Ms. Anderson’s life was celebrated at private service, followed by burial at Hull Village Cemetery.
