Lawrence J. Baird, at 75

On Friday, March 10, 2023, Lawrence J. Baird, 75, passed away while in hospice care at his home in Buckland, Mass. 

Originally from Mattapan, he lived in Hull for 30 years. Mr. Baird’s life was full of adventure, music, travel, love, and laughter.

He was always active. He volunteered at the Shelburne Falls Senior Center, practiced and taught Iyengar Yoga, kept the beat for the Waves of Rhythm, and loved tending to his garden and cooking. He will be missed and remembered by his family and friends.

Mr. Baird is survived by his wife of 55 years, Irene, their children Michelle and her wife Rosa, Daniel and his wife Nichole, and their grandchildren William and Oliver. He was a devoted husband, a wonderful Dad, and he loved being Papa to his grandchildren.
