Obituary: Sharon Ann Palladino

Sharon Ann Palladino, at 72

Sharon Ann (Rivers) Palladino, 72, of Hull, passed peacefully on Dec. 24, 2022, surrounded by loving family at her home, which she shared with her loving husband of 54 years, Henry P. (Rick) Palladino.

Mrs. Palladino was born on Oct.19, 1950 and grew up in Rockland. She moved to Hull after she met her husband and was a resident of Hull for more than 50 years. She worked as a lead wirer at Russelectric in Hingham for many years.

She was the adored daughter of Mary Neary and Robert Rivers, and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Harroll Kosonen. Mrs. Palladino was the sister of Karyl Berg and her husband, Steve, of Goffstown, N.H., William Kosonen and his wife, Peg, of Weymouth, and John Rivers of Rockland. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Christopher Kosonen and Steven Kosonen, and by her youngest daughter, Terry Palladino.

She leaves behind her husband, Henry Palladino, and their two children, Richard Palladino of Gilbert, Ariz., and Lisa Merlin and her husband, Steve, of Acton, Maine. She was blessed with five nephews, five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She made many friends with her wit and charm as a Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club member.

She was happiest on their boat, the “SHAR II.” She loved the ocean, lobster dinners, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always made her smile.

Donations in Mrs. Palladino’s name can be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. All are welcome to the graveside service at Hull Village Cemetery on March 14 at 11a.m., followed by a celebration of life held at the Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club at noon.
