Janet M. Folchi, 72

Janet Marie (Bergin) Folchi, of Brockton, died peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, with her sister, Linda, by her side. She was 72.

Born in Boston on Feb. 26, 1950, she was a cherished daughter of the late James Edward and Barbara Alice (Roberts) Bergin. Ms. Folchi was raised in Hull, attended local schools, and graduated from Hull High School. She was a devoted daughter, loving sister, and beloved aunt and great-aunt.

Ms. Folchi led a quiet life. After she graduated from high school, she went on to work in the insurance industry. She loved to travel, and traveled the world in her younger years. She also loved knitting, which she learned from her mother. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, crosswords, gardening, puzzles, and crime television shows.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Following cremation, Ms. Folchi will be interred privately in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
