Obituary: Daniel S. Fernald

Daniel S. Fernald, 52

Daniel S. Fernald of Hull passed away April 4, 2022 of pancreatic adenocarcinoma after a short illness. He was 52 years old.

The beloved son of Frances Figueiredo of Hingham and Donald Fernald of Weymouth, Mr. Fernald was the brother of Christopher Fernald of Hingham, Brian Fernald of Cohasset, Joseph Fernald of Hingham, and leaves several nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Fernald grew up in Hingham and graduated from Hingham High School in 1988. He was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard, sharpshooter, clam digger, computer tech, Grateful Dead fan, and a breeder of German Shepherds. He was a hiker and feeder of birds, small animals, and an occasional deer on his hill.
