Obituary: Priscilla H. West

Priscilla H. West, at 73
Priscilla H. [Hamlin] West, of Hull, died June 3. She was 73.
As a young child, Mrs. West traveled the world while she grew up. She lived and went to school in places such as Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, London, and Costa Rica. She and her family eventually moved to the United States. She moved to Hull about 25 years ago.
Mrs. West held a bachelor’s degree from Wheelock College and was a kindergarten teacher for Boston Public Schools for 30 years. She loved playing Sudoku and online jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed watching her DVR, especially the TV show, “Law and Order.” Her passions in life were teaching and her many pets. She was honest and unfiltered, but giving, loving, and very generous. She enjoyed sharing her many interesting stories from her travels. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Dear wife of 36 years of the late Wayne West; loving sister of Mary Hamlin of Texas; cherished aunt of Rachel Bramson, her husband, Ben Giese, and their children, Noah and Abbey Rose Giese of Texas, and the late Ruth Bramson. She also is survived by her devoted niece and best friend, Toby Camillone of Berkley, and her children, Presley and Italia. Her beloved pug, Trixie, will keenly miss Mrs. West.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the burial at Hull Village Cemetery on Wednesday, June 14, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her name to the Hull Public Library, 9 Main St., Hull, MA 02045. See www.Keohane.com for online condolences.
