Obituary: Robert J. Cochlin
Robert J. Cochlin, 38
Robert J. Cochlin, a diehard Bruins fan from Hull, died at home on Dec. 27 after a long illness. He was 38.
Bobby was born in Boston and raised in Hull. He excelled as a student and a hockey player at Hull High School. He worked as an operating engineer while always maintaining his lifelong love of hockey.
Bob had a genuine passion for darts, the ocean, fishing, and golf. He also possessed an uncanny wit that could make everyone laugh at any given time. You could always see Bobby cruising around town in his treasured black Lincoln, with sports radio on.
Most importantly though was his undeniable love for family and friends; he was often reaching out with a simple call or a gentle gesture. He was always there for them.
Bob was the husband of Heidi (Leary) Cochlin, the father of Ashleigh and Patrick Cochlin, the son of Robert and Theresa (Twigg) Cochlin, and the brother of Derek Cochlin. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to support Bob’s family at a memorial service on Monday, Jan. 10, at 5 p.m., at Jo’s Nautical Bar, 125 Main St., Hull.
Flowers can be delivered to the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to The Anchor of Hull.
