Ann W. Morgan, at 79
Ann “Nancy” W. (White) Morgan, age 79, of Quincy, formerly of Hull and Florida, died peacefully Friday at Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quincy.
A longtime summer resident of Hull, Mrs. Morgan had resided in Quincy the past several years. She had lived in Tampa for more than 40 years.
She was born, raised, and educated in Dorchester and was a graduate of Dorchester High School and Cardinal Cushing College. For many years, she worked as an elementary school teacher.
She enjoyed playing the piano and had a passion for music. She will be remembered as a happy person with a beautiful smile.
One of eight siblings, she was the dear sister of Elizabeth W. McGonagle, of Wollaston; John J. White Jr., of Minnesota; James L.V. White, of Lowell; and Paul F. White, of Hull. She was predeceased by Patricia M. White, Joan C. White, and Thomas W. White. Mrs. Morgan also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School St,, Quincy, on Friday, Jan. 25, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow, in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
