Frank A. Marciano, at 79
Frank A. Marciano died at his Hull home on Monday, Sept. 26. He was 79.
Mr. Marciano was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed working on homes–painting, wallpapering, woodworking, electrical, roofing, and plumbing. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, piano, drums, oil painting, and was a Boston Red Sox fan. He was a Boy Scout leader, Knights of Columbus third-degree member, CCD teacher, contractor working with his father, the director of building and grounds at Harvard University and Emerson College, real estate agent, and inspector for Tiger Home Inspection.
Mr. Marciano was the beloved husband of the late Louise [DiVito] Marciano; loving father of Peter Marciano and his wife, Ann, of Hull; grandfather of Angela Roper and husband, Daniel, Michelle Shapiro and her husband, Joel, and Michael Marciano; great-grandfather of Grace Lynn and Daniel Joseph. Mr. Marciano was the loving brother of Elsie Cirrone and her late husband Frank, and Anthony Marciano and wife, Phyllis; and also is survived by many extended family members.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, 2-6 p.m., at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Monday prior to the funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Hull Village Cemetery.
