Obituary: Horace E. Laprade

Horace E. Laprade, at 90

Horace E. Laprade, of Hull, formerly of Easthampton, died Sept. 6. He was 90.
Mr. Laprade was a proud Air Force veteran who served in World War II and an accomplished attorney and financial advisor. 
For 67 years he was the beloved husband of Teresa Laprade. He leaves his children: Richard A. Laprade of North Carolina, Terry L. Viggers and her husband, John, of Arizona, James F. Laprade and his partner, Tom Lutzy, of Hull, Bill A. Laprade of Colorado, John A. Laprade and his wife, Chase Angier, of New York, and Ann E. Cortes and her husband, Carlos, of Florida. The loving brother of Ruth Fleury and her husband, Frank, of Easthampton, and Dolores Block and her husband, Ted, of Ohio; grandfather of cherished grandsons, Sergio A. Laprade, Alexander J. Laprade, and Hudson D. Laprade; Mr. Laprade also leaves a great grandson, Oliver L. Laprade; many dear nieces and nephews; his family’s beloved friend, Amy Whitcomb Slemmer; and loving neighbors Charlotte and Martin Gruber and Susan and Rabih Habchy.
