Sylvia Selig, at 86
Sylvia (Goldman) Selig of Braintree, formerly of Stoughton and Hull, died Dec. 6, at age 86.
Mrs. Selig was a life member of Hadassah and was honored by the Stoughton-Sharon chapter for her years of volunteer service. She was a former member of Temple Beth Sholom of Hull and Temple Israel of Sharon.
Beloved wife of the late Sidney Selig; loving mother of Stanley Selig of Vermont, Stuart Selig and his wife, Roni, of New York City, and Michael Selig and his wife, Ann, of Hull; cherished grandmother of Alex, Cori, Sofi, Noah, Kim, Amanda, and Justin, and great-grandmother of Haley, MacKenzie, Riley, and Emma. Mrs. Selig was the dear sister of Shifra Rosoff and her husband, Bob, of Framingham, Gail Korrick of Connecticut, and Judy Ernest and her husband, Bob, of Ashland.
A graveside service was held at Keneseth Israel Cemetery in Woburn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hadassah, Stoughton-Sharon, 1320 Centre St., #205, Newton, MA 02459; or to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
