Herman L. Samick, at 96
Herman L. Samick, of Delray Beach and Hull, died Monday. He was 96.
Beloved husband of Blanche [Greenbaum] and the late Dorothy A. [Horblitt]; devoted father of David and Elaine Samick of Holliston and Boynton Beach, Joel Samick and his wife, Lynn Nathan, of Pennsylvania, Beverly and Robert Glazer of Florida, David and Fran Slovin of New York, and the late Dina Samick. Loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 15; dear brother of the late Sylvia Weger, Jeannette Klein, Albert Samick, and Sam Samick.
Services at the Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, were held today [Thursday], with interment at the Chevra Shass Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Memorial observance at the home of David and Elaine Samick in Holliston through Friday noon and then at their home in Delray Beach, Florida, from Saturday at 7 p.m. through Wednesday at noon.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, High Risk and Prevention Clinic, 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA 02445. ∞
