Obituary: Heidi A. Richardson

Heidi A. Richardson

Heidi A. Richardson of Hingham and Calistoga (Napa Valley), California, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2023.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Elinor Richardson.

Ms. Richardson is survived by her beloved partner, Brett Woodyatt, of Hingham. She leaves four siblings, Bruce Richardson and his wife, Ellen Slaby, of Chestnut Hill, Nancy Birmingham and her husband, Tom, of Moss Beach, Calif., Brian Richardson and his wife, Theresa, of Braintree, and Faith Richardson of Danville, Calif. She also leaves four cherished nephews, Ryan Birmingham, Kevin Birmingham, Brett Richardson, and Craig Richardson.

Ms. Richardson spent her entire 36-year professional career in the financial services industry. She started her career as the assistant treasurer of Blackstone Bank while still an undergraduate at Bentley University. Most recently, she was a managing director at Morgan Stanley’s Graystone Consulting. She also had managing director roles at JPMorgan Chase, BlackRock, and at other well-known banking leaders.

Ms. Richardson was renowned for her generosity and sense of adventure. She loved running marathons in exotic destinations around the world and had traveled to more than 80 countries across all seven continents.

Visiting hours were held on Dec. 29 in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home in Hingham, and her funeral Mass was on Saturday at St. Ann’s Church. Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Heidi Richardson’s memory to the Hull High School Scholarship Fund, 180 Main St., Hull, MA 02045.
