Obituary: Richard W. Burke

Richard W. Burke, 70

Richard W. “Ricky” Burke of Natick, formerly of Hull, died peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at the Eliot Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Natick. He was 70.

Born in Weymouth on Dec. 26, 1951, he was the son of the late Edward and Barbara (Shea) Burke. Mr. Burke was raised in Hull and attended local schools. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during Vietnam, and was honorably discharged on Dec. 30, 1969. Following his time in the service, Mr. Burke worked as a laborer in the construction industry. 

Mr. Burke was the loving brother of Edward Burke and his wife, Jean, Barbara Grimshaw and her husband, Tom, and Karen Burke, all of Hull. He was preceded in death by his siblings Kevin and Paula Burke. Mr. Burke is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

Following cremation, Mr. Burke will be interred privately in Hull Village Cemetery at a later date.
