Ronald DeRosa, at 80
Ronald DeRosa 80, of Hull, died Sunday, July 1.
Mr. DeRosa was a graduate of Hingham High School. He served in the Army Reserves, and worked for many years as an upholsterer for Twin City Upholsterers.
Mr. DeRosa enjoyed fishing, lobstering, basketball, softball, and bowling, and was an avid poker player. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hull, and took great pride in organizing the weekly summer ice cream parties at Sunset Point Vacation House.
Beloved husband of the late Alethea (Livingstone) DeRosa; devoted father of Lisa DeRosa of Hull and her longtime companion, Eric Smith, and Ronald DeRosa and his wife, Lisa (Conran), of Framingham. He was the loving Pop-Pop of his grandson, Nicholas DeRosa.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday prior to his funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10. Burial at Hull Village Cemetery will follow.
