Marie E. Halay, at 76
Marie E. Halay died July 3 in Peoria, Ariz., at age 76.
Born in New York, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Henry (“Hank”) Halay. 
She was a longtime employee of the Hull Federal Credit Union and a former Hull resident, who previously resided in St. Peters, Mo., and Groton, Conn., before moving to Arizona in 2015. She was passionate about word searches, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, lobster, and good beer and wine.
Mrs. Halay is survived by daughters, Lisa Halay-Leone, of Whitman; and Cheryl Halay, of Buzzards Bay; and her son, Douglas Halay and daughter-in-law Crystal (Conlon) Halay, of Peoria, Ariz. She had four grandchildren, Jenell, Gregory, Caitlin, and Ryan; and two great-grandchildren, Athena and Adeline. 
In accordance with her wishes, services were private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
